This is what I saw when I opened my front door a few hours ago. The little hole is where I stuck a yardstick, to measure 21″. We’re up to 27″ now, and it’s still snowing! I’m AMAZED I have electricity and internet, to be able to share this with you; thought I should take advantage of that while I can. Click on the photo to see a few more on flickr.
If you’re in SNOWMAGGEDON 2010, stay inside, be safe and warm! (I love the names for this storm: Snowpocalypse, Snowmygosh (SNOWMG!), SNOWNAMI… any others?)
I’ve only been hearing The Storm of the Century. I believe it now! We’re just under 27 inches here. (We just stick a yardstick in and leave it.)
Power flickered 4 times last night, but we’ve still got it. (I admit, it frightened me.)
I’m trying to post pictures on FB but the uploads keep failing.
Glad you are inside, safe and warm!
Can’t say I’m jealous, up here in MA; we need a break, so you guys take care of the snow thing for a while. Take advantage and make snow cones. Seriously. It’s like nature’s cheapest thrill.
I think I might stop complaining about the chill in the air here in Florida.
Our 3″ on the prairie are not much. We got the driveway shoveled off easy.
No new snow this morning, but still gray and cloudy.
Glad you are inside and coping. mymy-my, what a mess….
I think this storm of yours is snowballing out of control. (Wow. That was bad, even for me.)
😉
Stay warm and drink cocoa.
So much of the white stuff !! I’m glad you put up so many personalized pictures!
I’m sitting in San Francisco, 5:30 on Sunday night, with sun glinting off the Oakland bay and city. The sun shined all day and the temps were around 60. I could never live in snow because I think 40 is COLD.
I have a name for it…Pain in the Ass.
Just found this post. Good luck with the new snow that’s coming. I’m contemplating working from home tomorrow if it gets any worse here.
Got a notice from an online store that my purchase was delayed due to inclement weather on the East Coast.
Crazy Times, eh?
