I have nothing noteworthy to say this morning. I just wanted to stop by and give you a hug.
Thank you, Ms. Susie. My human, Sometimes Saintly Nick, told me it would do me good to visit your blog on Sundays. So I did. OK?
Happy Sunday, susie. – Lynn
The one inescapable constant is change. Love you, sis.
Great quote, Susie. I like the picture as well. Perfect fit!
So true. Hang in, there, sis. And Happy Sunday!
I got nuthin’ but a hug today my dear. xx
I want to say “You’re a survivor, Susie” but then I kept hearing this bad 80s music from the group Survivor (you know, “Eye of the Tiger”?) Now I can’t seem to get it out of my head and I didn’t want to turn around and do that to you, too.
Oops.
Considering that I am neither strong nor intelligent nor adaptable, I am screwed.
Nope. It’s the one with the most perfect buttocks who survives.
So I guess George Michael will outlive us all.
What if you have imperfectly perfect buttocks?
This quote literally gave me chills. In a good way. I tend to try and ‘think’ my was out when adapting is best for all involved.
And then I read Bucky’s comment and laughed my very imperfect ass off.
For some reason, the photo of the fall leaves and the Darwin quote made me think of the verse in John that says, “unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
Your struggle with WTF has brought a lot of fruit in the sense of friendships and people coming together to support you [as well as a lot of fruits – like me! :)], but then when I read the Psalms passage you referenced, I thought of how many times you can go through the uncertainty and the frustration before you sink – so here’s a hand to hang onto, Susie. A hand and a prayer so you don’t sink or die.

I just want to say “Hi” and send hugs and to wish you a belated Happy Canadian Thanksgiving…we enjoyed turkey two days in a row and yummy pumpkin pie! Mmmmm…Katrina likes pumpkin pie….
This is a good quote. I would like to change from having 1/3 of a lung to having 1 whole lung. I sure hope I can adapt to that……
