Proverbs 24:16
Micah 7:8
This does not compute. Night Ranger tells us that “The secret of my success is I’m living 25 hours a day”.
Maybe I better go discuss with Sister Christian and the Dawn Patrol.
*realizes he’s dating himself, and doesn’t care*
Hi!
I’m persevering at a video game right now. Does that count?
(Heh heh heh…Mr. B, you’re dating yourself…do you put out?)
Persevering was the name of the game for me last week (and quite possibly the week before, too). Just keep on keepin on even when you just want to hide under the covers.
I loves you Susiekins. You inspire me more than you know.
*does not really want to know if Mr B. dates himself and how far he ‘goes”; totally none of my business…*
Oh, and I really really like that photo… very cool (uh, no pun intended)
The quote reminds me of our old mentor Col. Francis, whose favorite word was “persevere.” He’s still kicking, just not as high as he used to.
Love you, KT
Persevere like a bad rash :-).
Happy Sunday Susie!
Of course I do, Bucky. I have to buy myself dinner too.
Mmmmm, preserves. Blackberry?
Kidding, of course. Hugs to you Susie.
Amen.
I like the “do not gloat over me, my enemy” part of the michah quote.
February: the month of perseverance, diets without chocolate, and ice that covers rhodies, lawn ornaments, and driveways.
Not that I have fallen down on the ice, but I’ve watched my youngest DS do so, and persevere by gettting up again and again. Being 8 years old, he laughs while he does it.
I like to think you are like that with WTF, Susie. Everytime you post, I see you persevering.
Wow, gorgeous picture! We had ourselves some ice here this morning.
I’m so very glad that you’re still perservering. Love and hugs, sis!
I’m glad you’re still persevering too. Happy Sunday!
Keep on hanging on and persevering, I know how hard that can be when things look bleak. But it is soooo worth it.
Happy late Sunday.
Isn’t “perseverance” the oddest word? The prefix “per”, meaning “for”, attached to the word “severance”, as in “separation”; and yet when combined, it has the meaning of staying the course despite obstacles. I don’t know how that came to be the meaning, but I’ve often wondered at the etiology of the word. You’ve inspired me here to go find out. And I’ll persevere until I do. 😉
Hope it was a happy Sunday, Susie!
Yep. Winter is sure persevering this year.
I like pursevering too. Nice supple leather and shiny buckles.
Yoshi enjoys purrsevering.
Oysters love pearlsevering.
Golfers try at least parsevering.
Twins pairsevere.
I’ll shut up now. Stop punsevering.
Happy Belated Sunday!
Is that anything like apricot perseveres?
Thank you, Susie.
I needed to see this. I’m working on picking my ass up off the floor. Mostly metaphorically speaking. But in other ways too.
Hugs to you.
