No need to apologize for this being late. It’s 5:33 p.m. now as I write this. You might be interested to know that I have been attending a Methodist church near my home and enjoying very much the Word in sermon and song as well as the fellowship. I took communion last Sunday for the first time in 11 years! Next Saturday I will be attending a Christmas service at the same church. I am thankful for the good health I have which enables me to attend the house of God. I know you and many others do not have that luxury. May you see your health restored in the New Year.
There’s a little children’s song my kids used to sing all the time with the lyric, “Love is something if you give it away, then you end up having more.” I always liked that song, and this post reminds me of it.
barb, thanks for the lovely comment. Blessings to you and yours, too.
allie, you’re most welcome.
squirl, so true. We are always richer for sharing. (OK, now I’m thinking of some exceptions, but mostly, that’s true 😉
katy, thank you, and yes, I am interested to know! I have a running email to you in my head. It’ll come out my fingers soon 🙂
bucky, grooovin’, on a Sunday afternoon . . . 🙂
platy, Stumpy is wise (and possibly also a Care Bear).
hoss, I’ll see what I can do.
shari, get outta here! I posted the lyrics to that on here a long time ago, maybe even before I met you. That’s so cool; one of my favorite love songs: It’s just like a magic penny, hold it tight and you won’t have any, but if you lend it, spend it, you’ll have so many, they’ll roll all over the floor!
