squirl, no; I can’t really claim agony. I hope your day is happy. I may go to Alaska today (via your blog). I’ve been holding off, saving it as a special treat.
htgt, as I told my bro, I’m upright and verbal. That’s about as good as it gets, so yea, let’s call that Happy. 🙂
ck, love you, too 🙂
katy, thank you very kindly for remembering me 🙂 That picture was taken in historic Jamestown, at a very old, crumbly church. However, your question makes me want to take some pictures of my church windows some time, because they’re quite unusual.
ssnick, to you as well 🙂
atm, happy Sunday and September to you. Isn’t that interesting, I do believe the Maya Angelou quote is the precise premise behind Postsecret.com.
My brother-in-law is full of stories that he has to tell. One time he started out a story and I said, “You already told me that one.” And he said, “And you’re going to hear it again.”
A friend was in front of me coming out of church one day, and the preacher was standing at the door as he always is to shake hands. He grabbed my friend by the hand and pulled him aside.
The Pastor said to him, “You need to join the Army of the Lord!”
My friend replied, “I’m already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor.”
Pastor questioned, “How come I don’t see you except at Christmas and Easter?”
He whispered back, “I’m in the secret service.
(Just trying to lighten things up a bit…)
I hope your well. I will pray for you. Not because you asked…just because I LIKE to.
Great quote. I hope your agony isn’t too great.
Happy Sunday, sis!
Happy Sunday, susie. I hope.
Thinking of you, Miss Susie.
Love you.
Are those your church windows? Just wondering. And wondering if you are doing okay. I’m remembering you today.
Sunday blessings, Susie.
Kind of ironic given my two Sunday morning reads are your blog and Postsecret.com.
Happy September and Happy Sunday!

My comment was going to be virtually identical the Amy the Mom’s first sentence. 🙂
Thanks for telling your story here.
Happy Sunday–hope you’re (experiencing and) enjoying the beautiful weather we’re having.
So true. And if walls could talk… Have a great weekend, dear.
