you’re home! hopefully well-rested
Hooray, you’re back! Hope you had a most wonderful time.
Yay! Susie’s back! And she brought a wonderful picture!
Glad you’re home!
A nice dark air conditioned bar?
Hey, chica! Missed you! Hope you had a restful time.
And I needed this today. Gathering clouds indeed…
Were you one of the kids whose mother had to give you up for adoption, (her crisis-pregnancy did not end up in abortion!)
Has your heart had a longing you’ve tried fill with school, achievements, perfectionism, music, cars, food addictions, drugs, alcohol or sex? Maybe your adoptive parents are great BUT the emptiness is still there. Well 15 years ago I met an adoptee, who became a birth mom herself at 16 and had to put her own daughter up for adoption. She had some trials in her life that probably resemble your own, but she had a determination I’ve not seen in very many people. Driven by the deep desires of her own heart to know her birth parents and the unending questions about her own baby, adopted by strangers, she began to SEARCHโฆ. and what a search it has been. It did not stop with her. She helped another person, and then another, reuniting birth parents and children, sisters and brothers, aunts, uncles and grandparents and special needs adoptions. She works with adoption agencies, attorneys, adoption lawsโฆand to date has reunited over 2,500 adoptees with their birth mom and/or birth dad. Her name is JENNIFER ROBINSON and she can be contacted at http://www.givenright.com .
Jennifer has a remarkable ability to find people QUICKLY. She frequently hears the phrase “I have looked for them for years and you found them in just a few days”. She gives many, many hours for these adoption searches but she gives credit for the remarkable results to God who is a Father Himself and loves to see family restored. She has had many opportunities to “sell her integrity and her adoption search business” to Hollywood and reality shows, but she turns them all down because it is YOU she cares about and your heart. She is YOUโฆ she can relate to all the heart issues you have as an adopteeโฆ..loving your adoptive parents but still longing to know your own. She can relate to you as a birthmother, the ache to know “what happened to my baby”, and even as an adoptive mother, because she is raising her husbands son by a previous marriage. Contact her. It might be just the OPEN DOOR TO HEALING YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR.
Oh My Word. I can’t believe that you’re gone for so long, only to get a spam comment your first time back.
Welcome back to that same old place that you laughed about.
Which reminds me, you have to take the 80’s lyrics quiz when you get a chance. I’m curious to see how you do.
hey operagirl, thanks for the welcome. The vacation was SO restful. Now I just gotta rest a bit from the return drive ๐
hi, sharkey! Thanks for the welcome, yes, I’ll blog a little about it tomorrow. Very nice vacation.
hi, Plum! Glad you like the pic; I sat right in the middle of that river ๐
bullseye, different strokes, friend ๐ And welcome, I’m not sure if we’ve met.
andrea, hi there. I just popped over for a minute and took your quiz, revealing that I read blogs way too much. Didn’t see no stinkin’ clouds over there. Whassup?
mrtl, yes, what an odd spam. I hope I don’t get pelted with them. I’ll take the quiz, although I’d do better on a 70s, I’d bet.
A bridge over troubled water–Susie’s back! All’s well in my blog world again.
I’m so glad the church didn’t pick up Chevrolet’s slogan, “Like a Rock” when they dropped it. ;P Excellent pictorial of the scripture.
Welcome back, dear!
Yeah, we tease her a lot
‘Cause we got her on the (blog)spot
Welcome back…
How’s THAT for 70s lyrics?
And we didn’t cheat at Twister. We’re just soooooooo flexible…and may or may not have removable “parts.”
Welcome home!
Susie’s back! I must’ve been psychic cuz I mentioned brainy ideas on my blog.
We really missed you. I guess the Twister game’s over now.
Beautiful picture. Waiting now to hear the rest of the story.
Susie’s home!
Hooray!
What a gorgeous picture. I could stare at it for HOURS.
Hope you had a MAHvalous trip and have loads of stories for us.

Nina
Sunday post! Where’s that river? It’s beautiful!! Great to see you back on the ‘net — I missed you.
Oh, and that Twister spinner? Yeah, we customized it a bit, but no one was cheating.
At least, I didn’t know that anyone was cheating… OMG, you mean, you guys didn’t actually put your right labia on pink?
I feel so used.
welcome back!
So glad to see you around again. We missed ya! I can’t wait to hear how the vaca was.
Susie, just the mood I was in yesterday. I didn’t blog about it. Feeling a bit better today (and thanks for being so sweet to check on me, and for taking my quiz ๐ )
Well, it’s about bloody time. Now my daily routine can get back on track. I’ve been so discombobulated …
So glad to see you back! Hope your trip was fun.
Welcome back. ๐
Great pic by the way. I love anything with water in it.
Welcome back Susie!
Welcome back, chica! Hope your vacation was restful so you can go back to entertaining the masses here!
I really like that picture. I’ve come back to your blog a couple of times today just to look at it. It just reminds me of home, and makes me just want to “think”, just not sure what about.
Welcome back, hon. We missed you!
Hope the Fairchilds had a wonderful vacation.
XOXOXO
missed you huge! Welcome homo!
We all hope you had a great time on your holiday. Thank you for wanting a big miracle, we are programmed for small miracles. We
will take anything right now from
God.
That was a very special comment someone left that was about 400 lines long. As ridiculous as it was, rather amazing they would leave such a comment. Could it be
they read your Christmas post and have had too much eggnog?
Fabulous picture, Rachel said to me
“hey maybe that is the bridge Sarah
has to walk”.
Lisabeth/Rachel
Yea! Welcome back Susie ๐
Welllll helllllo sunshine.
Hows your fine ass self?
Welcome home, Susie! I hope that you had a wonderful, restful vacation. I’ll look forward to reading all about it. Happy August!
hi, mrsDoF! What a nice welcome. I thought of that song, too, when I saw this picture ๐
hey, crayoneater, OR is it an excellent scriptural of the pictorial? Hmmmmm….
BFE, since this is a holy post, how about this, used to be on a poster in my office, “Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not break.” You are blessed, indeed, Bucky ๐
thanks, MB
hey squirl! I’ve got a few brainy ideas on what to post about the vaca; I’ll get it up sometime today ๐
misfit, thank you. I love this photo, too. You are quite welcome to swipe it, use it for your desktop or whatever; I’d be flattered.
oh, you guys, lawbrat, kitty, hoss, william, momo, sierrabella, nina, it just makes me feel so good to have you all stopping in to welcome me back to blogworld. Thank you, thank you.
eclectic, you pretzel-girl, it is the Rocky Broad River, in Chimney Rock, NC. Beautiful place.
thanks, blogaholic and cori/tink, nice to see you here ๐
andrea, oh, good. Glad the clouds have passed ๐
nilbo, yea, blame me for the ulation of your discombobs, why don’t cha?
howdy, kranki, sfg, bente, thanks for the warm welcome!
ern, aagghh! masses, you say? You’re scaring me, girl. I’ll just blather on as usual and be surprised and delighted that nice people actually take time to wade through my words. Thank you ๐
sassyfemme, thank you, and as I said to misfit, do swipe it; I’m so tickled that it seems to make some people feel what I feel when I see it. Of course, you’re also welcome to keep coming back to visit it ๐
Now, if it reminds you of home, where is home? I know you’re a Yankee in TX, but I don’t know where “home” is for you . . .
hey, ladybug and “bro-mo”! Good to see you two!
lisabeth and rachel, hello, thanks for stopping in. I hope where Sarah is right now feels as cleansing and hopeful as that place felt to me. Whatever bridge she’s walking, she’s surely not alone. Still praying for real good news, and real soon.
hey, JOMAMA! JR, lori! Welcome, all, it’s nice to see and hear you again.
welcome home!!!!! – yay~ Susie’s home again – – home again, home again, jiggity, jig!
