Marriage is a journey. We’re now passing through the “in sickness and in health” part. And we’re still here.
Thank you, truly, for all the prayers and well-wishes. My arms are better than they were, but their daily capabilities remain limited, and I am hoarding what energy they have for home stuff and family stuff and the occasional comment here and there. I’ll be around, when I can.
Marriage advice: Marry the best person you know, and spend your life trying to be the best person they know. I think that will work.

This was fun to see since I didn’t make it to your wedding. I do, however, remember picking out lingerie for you in a now-defunct shop in downtown WJ. I think your advice re: choosing a partner is good. I think when we try to be the best we can be, it dramatically ups our chances of finding Mr or Miss Right.

As I looked at this fantastic pic of the two of you, it occured to me that those are the colors I originally wanted for our wedding. Hubby dressed in a light gray suit, with tails and lovely soft pink flowers. I also thought your dress looked a bit similar to mine.
Over the weekend, I happened upon a few pictures from our wedding and noticed my dress was only similar to your dress in that it was white, had beads and was long-sleeved. Hubby did not want to wear tails, we went with a dark gray, and the soft pink I wanted was cast aside for a pepto-bismal pink instead.
So, really, your wedding picture was nothing like mine.
Um, can I have a nap now? Or a major dose of caffeine?
